Rex McLauchlin, age 79, of Greer, South Carolina passed away on Monday July 1, 2019 at St. Francis Downtown. Rex was born March 2, 1940, the son of Walter and Marguerite Carson McLauchlin.

He was predeceased by his wife JoAnne in 2012. He is survived by his daughter Terri Wicker and her husband Ernest of Greer. A brother H.O. McLauchlin of Greer, a sister Rita McLauchlin and a granddaughter Candice Bolding and her husband Bradford of Greenville.

A visitation for Rex will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rex's memory may be made to Cancer Society of Greenville, 113 Mills Ave., Greenville, South Carolina 29605, www.cancersocietygc.org.
