Rene is survived by his wife, Miriam Lozano; his sons Miguel, Andres, Rene Jr. and Cuauhtemoc, his daughters Miriam (Mimi) R., Raquel M. Wilson, Sarah Rose, Margarita V. Cruz and Karmen and numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Margarita Garcia, siblings Horacio Lozano, Sebastian Garcia, Juan Jose Garcia, Armando Garcia, Adan Garcia and numerous nephews and nieces
He attended Rio Grande Bible Institute and Bob Jones University. Rene loved soccer, horticulture, fishing and spending time with his family. Rene was especially passionate about supporting an orphanage in Mexico that he go connected to while attending RGBI and we hope to carry his legacy on.
A funeral service for Rene will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, South Carolina 29609.
