Rebecca Jean Landreth

Rebecca “Becky” Jean Reid Landreth, 68, widow of Jerome “Jerry” Laverne Landreth, passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday, February 10, 2022, surrounded by her loving daughters. Born in Greenville, S.C. on August 2, 1953, she is the daughter of the late Virginia Ethel Reid and the late Robert Eugene Reid.

Becky and Jerry were part of the GWRRA Chapter E Gold Wings. She enjoyed riding with her beloved husband and her friends. She loved to laugh! The family will miss the laughter and the cackles. She loved watching Days of Our Lives and Judge Judy. Becky also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and she loved the beach, where she would dip her toe in the water. She retired from C. Dan Joyner, in Greenville, SC.

She is survived by two daughters, Virginia “ Ginny” Reinman and Jamie Marie Crothers (Chris Crothers); two grandchildren, Braeden Aloysius Reinman and Autumn Marie Crothers; a brother, Richard A. Reid (Vicki Reid); her cousins, Priscilla Bridges, Diane Greer, Judy Williams, Carl Walker, Sonny Walker, Linda Lashley, David Lashley, and Elizabeth Alford; and a childhood best friend, Jean Womack Cain.

She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Eugene Reid Jr.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Greenville Memorial Gardens at 7784 Augusta Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
