Born on October 20th, 1955, in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Dr. Dabney and Mrs. Rachel Robinson. Price started his college education at the College of Charleston and finished at the University of South Carolina where he graduated with a degree in occupational therapy. After graduation he started his career as an OTR in the upstate. Price also lived in Charleston for 20 years where he enjoyed his job giving horse drawn carriage tours of the historic city.
Price spent his Saturdays target shooting at the Palmetto State Armory with his closest friends. After which they would all enjoy lunch together. He had love of animals, particularly his two cats who were always by his side.
In addition to his parents, Price was preceded in death by his grandparents Charles and Gladys Latham and Edward and Maud Robinson and second cousin John Carson Jr.
Price is survived by his sister Nancy Robinson, as well as cousins John Carson (Jane), John Robinson, Mary Somerville, Margaret Northen, Kathryn McKey, Newell Robinson, Rich Brown (Estelle), Curry Latham (Jane), Tom Latham (Gina), Susan Latham (Val Deininger), Liz Knapp (Bob Taylor), and Laura Rudicill; and several second cousins, nieces, and nephews
Price will be laid to rest privately next to his parents at Woodlawn Memorial Park, after which the family will receive friends at The Blockhouse, 1619 Augusta Street, Greenville, SC 29605 on Saturday June 29th from 4-6 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Price's honor may be made to The Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or the Wounded Warriors Project.
