Born in Perry, Florida, Norma was a daughter of the late Preston and Janie Ames Croft. Norma and William were married for 65 years and resided in Charlotte, North Carolina.
They were members of St. Giles Presbyterian Church and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Norma was an administrator at Piedmont Central Community College. Upon retirement they moved to Little River, South Carolina and were members of Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughter Amy C. O’Rourke and her husband Brian of Greenville; sons, Wade Carroll and his wife Lori of Westminster, Colorado; Dale Carroll and his wife Susan of Cary North Carolina; brother Preston Croft of Panama City, Florida and 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family has scheduled a private memorial service.
