Nettie Lou Hall Knight

She was a very active member of Leewood Baptist Church for 49 years and most recently a member of Parisview Baptist Church. Her family and church were the most important things in her life, and both benefited greatly from her wonderful cooking skills.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children; Susan K. (Steve) Best and Malcolm G. (Julie) Knight, as well as 2 granddaughters; Kimberly (Will) Fort and Katie (Steven) Reece. Survivors also include 3 great-grandchildren and a sister; Faye Hall Garrett.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Cottingham House in Seneca for their loving care and support.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 10 – 11 am at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to; Parisview Baptist Church, 100 Bud Street, Greenville, SC 29617, Hospice of the Foothills, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672, or Talking Book Services, c/o SC State Library, 1430 Senate Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
