Greenville - Funeral services to honor Mrs. Goodwin's life will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, July 13 at Mackey at Century Drive.

Nancy Hunter Goodwin, 70, of 104 Bridgeton Dr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital attended by her husband and daughter.

Born in Greenville, she was married to Michael Lee Goodwin and the only child of the late John Milton and Zepha Gantt Hunter.

Mrs. Goodwin was a graduate of Furman University with a Masters in Music from Converse College and having played at Carnegie Hall. As such she taught students violin from young beginners through university level.

Surviving are her husband Michael Lee Goodwin, son Michael Hunter Goodwin and daughter, Dr. Margaret Elizabeth Goodwin and Dr. Goodwin's husband Greg Julian Whitson and granddaughter Ada Ruth Whitson.
