Mary Jeanette Moody

Born in Franklin, NC, she was the daughter of the late Floyd W. Thomas and Lois Ledford Thomas.

She was a seamstress and homemaker. She was a member of Burnsview Baptist Church and the Mothers Sunday School Class.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Weaver Moody, sisters; Margie McWhite, Agnes McMath, Geneva Nations and Joan Lamb and two great-granddaughters.

She is survived by two children, Floyd W. Moody of Charlotte, NC and Janis McLees and husband Dale of Duncan, SC; sister, Bea Dorr and husband Alan and brother Clyde Thomas and wife Deloris; grandchildren; Michele Wright and husband Rodney, Gina Burnham and husband Scott, Corey Duncan and wife Elizabeth, Chad McLees and wife Jaime and Brandi Isreal; great-grandchildren, Caycie and Bracen Wright, Lauren, Riley and Emerson Burnham, Ella Duncan, Bryson, Carson, Jackson and Addison McLees, Jordon Haymon, Maddison Willis, Ashton and Parker Isreal.

Celebration of life service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home at 1 Pine Knoll Dr. in Greenville at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 27, 2015. The service will be officiated by the Rev. Tim Huckaby.

A special thanks to the Pink Hall nurses at Magnolia Place for the love and care they showed for mom and us over the last 3 years.
