Born in Anderson, he was a son of Martin Roger Stone (Pam) of Laurens and Sandra Stevenson Smith of Williamston. Marty was a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He loved all sports and was an avid golfer. He was a wonderful dad and husband.
In addition to his wife and parents, Marty is survived by a daughter, Nicole Briannah Stone; three brothers, Jimmy Stone, Stan Stone (Michelle), and Ryan Stone (Becky); his mother-in-law, Virginia Faye Spearman; a brother-in-law, Mark Spearman; a sister-in-law, Dawn Garner (John); four nieces, Grace Stone, Sallie Stone, Parker Stone, and Emily Stone; three nephews, Jonathan Garner, Will Stone, and John Stone.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM at Mackey Funerals & Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park prior to the graveside service.
