Martha Jo Putman, 79, native of Greenville, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018. Born to Alberta and Ramsey Harbin, she graduated from Parker High School and enjoyed a lengthy career as a beautician at her salon, The Lovable Touch. Martha Jo is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Walter “Putt;” and her brother, Jimmy Lee Harbin. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy J. Von Glahn; granddaughter, Michell Ripple (Christopher); great-grandaughter, Eliza Grace Ripple; nieces, Patty Spencer (Aaron) and Ondina Hopkins; nephews, Tony Harbin (Diana), and Randy Harbin (Delora); several great-nieces and -nephews; and former son-in-law and devoted friend, Leslie Turner. Martha Jo was an avid Clemson fan, and will be remembered for the love and laughter she shared with her family.
