Mark Hamilton Saunders

Born in Rock Hill, he was the son Don Saunders, of Rock Hill and the late Bernadine Saunders.

Mark graduated from Rock Hill High School and Winthrop University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He began his career with Bowater Carolina and most recently with Spectrum Reach, where he was most respected amongst his coworkers and the best in his profession.

Mark enjoyed restoring his 1965 Mustang and enjoyed building remote controlled airplanes. He was a life member of the NRA.

A loving husband, father and son, Mark will be remembered for being a down to earth guy with a crazy, dry sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife of 30 years, Tamara Roney Saunders; his three children, Brad, Andrew and Katie; his mother-in-law, Joanne Roney; and two sisters-in-law, Dionne Roney and Annette (Ken) Drachman.

Memorial services will be held Monday, September 26, 2016 at 5:00pm at The Mackey Mortuary. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 3:30pm until 4:45pm at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
