Linda Jo Welborn

Linda was born in 1935 to the late William and Faye Wood. In 1954 she married the late Bobby Joe Welborn. The spent 37 wonderful years together until his passing in 1991.

Linda loved her family and loved the Lord. She was a member at Mauldin United Methodist Church since 1972, where she was very active in bible study. She was also an avid bowler and in a bowling league for over 20 years. Her other favorite hobbies included gardening, crossword puzzles, and playing piano.

She is survived by three sons, Timothy Welborn (Tammy), Robert Welborn (Patricia), and Joe Welborn (Debbie); one brother, William “Buddy” Wood (Carol Lee); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one sister, Beverly Derrick.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday April 20, 2021 at 10am at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 135 Reid Bagwell Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673.
