Linda Faye Lawrence

Linda Faye Lawrence of Greenville, SC went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully at her home on Friday, October 1, 2021. She was born in Savanna, IL to the late Norman Francis Johnson and Elva Jeanette Osbourn Johnson.

She is survived by her loving husband Richard A. Lawrence; their two sons, Matthew Lawrence and wife Stephanie and grandchildren: Dylan, Mackenzie and Katelyn who Linda adored, and Mark Lawrence. Linda was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a registered nurse who spent most of her career at Baptist Hospital, Montgomery, AL working in coronary intensive care and surgical recovery. Linda enjoyed tutoring, swimming, and quilting after leaving nursing.

Memorials may be made to the MAPS program at Evangel Church, Montgomery, AL or the Missions program at Greenville First Assembly, Greenville, SC or Piedmont Women’s Center, Greenville, SC.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to graveside service at Mackey at Woodlawn from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM.
