Jonathan cherished spending time with his family and friends, and lived every day to the fullest with love, kindness, passion, and laughter. He met the love of his life, Nicole, in college, and they spent over 15 years together filled with big life moments and so much happiness, laughter, and love every day. He was an incredible father to his 2 children, Lincoln & Ashton; they enjoyed playing board games, football, basketball, joking around, and hanging out in the pool. He was always so proud of his children – sharing videos and stories on everything from school accomplishments and sports, to trying their best and making good choices. Jonathan enjoyed going to Clemson games and watching football with his family. He loved to work out, do archery, and go hunting - always planning cross country hunting trips to the Midwest and Maine. He enjoyed spending all night talking to family and friends over a good drink and a UFC fight, and he was the first person to lean in when a friend was in need. Jonathan will be greatly missed, but memories of him will continue to be shared amongst family and friends for many, many years to come.
Jonathan is survived by his wife, Nicole, and children, Lincoln (8) and Ashton (6); parents Fonya and Kerry Colvin; brother, Evan Colvin; grandparents, Ray and Maxine Thomas; father and mother in law, Robert and Sheilagh MacLean; brother and sister in law, Garrett and Brianna MacLean; nephew and niece, Jaxon and Mila MacLean; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation for Jonathan will take place Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 2:00-3:45 pm at Mackey Funeral Home, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm.
