Joanne White Edwards

Born in Nashville, TN, Mrs. Edwards was the daughter of the late William Monroe White and the late Louise White Eslick. A resident of Greenville since 1964, Mrs. Edwards taught math at Christ Church Episcopal School in the 1970s. She was a graduate of Vanderbilt University and was a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband of 65 years, Clint Edwards, Mrs. Edwards is survived by three daughters: Suzanne Edwards of Durham, NC, Jennifer Edwards McKee and her husband Lyndon of Cashiers, NC, and Jill Edwards Leite of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren: Evan Michael Leite, Jennifer Leite Pampalon, and Virginia Newberry; and one great grandchild, Norah Kathryn Leite.

The memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Fourth Presbyterian Church. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall. I
