Jerry loved the Lord, his family, friends and his work. He has been the owner and president of Yeargin Metals for 50 years. He was so proud of that accomplishment. He was kind, honest, and generous and will be missed by all. He loved flying in his airplanes. He has flown to every airport in South Carolina. He loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends. He was a past president of Piedmont Business association and vice president of Oak Hill Air Park. He served his country in the Army in Vietnam. He was given the Vietnam Service Medal. He brought out the best in everyone he knew. He treasured all his children and grandchildren.
A visitation for Jerry will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM.
