Jeff was born in Greenville, SC to Jeff D Bramlett Sr. and Ruby Kelly on July 21, 1931.
Jeff was the beloved husband to Ollie Clark Bramlett for 66 years and “dad” to his furry friend Sassie for 7 years. He was father to his loving children who predeceased him, Debra Marie Jones, Kelly Bramlett and Dale Bramlett. Jeff is survived by his wife of the home, Ollie; a sister Jean Cannon.; one son-in-law, Fred Jones, three daughters- in- law, Marge Bramlett, Deb Bramlett, and Kathy Bramlett; He doted on his six grandchildren; Matt Jones, Adam Jones, Leanna Stroup, Greg Bramlett, Zachary Bramlett, and Katie Baughman, and 15 great grandchildren.
Jeff served in the US Air force during the Korean Conflict.
Jeff was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist. He participated in several mission trips to Rio de Janeiro and Brazil.
He received his Bachelor of Science from Furman University, and his Master of Science from Clemson University. He was a principal at Blue Ridge high school and Tanglewood middle school. He was later the director of adult education for Greenville County. He coached several sports in Leesburg, FL and at Slater-Marietta High School in SC. After retiring Jeff contributed his coaching skills to North Grenville University and Gardner Webb University.
Jeff was a 60 year member of Taylors Masonic Lodge # 345. He was also a member of the Hejaz Shrine. Jeff was a man of great wisdom. He loved many and was loved by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at Brushy Creek Baptist Church on Friday Dec 1, at 3pm. The family will receive friends at the church Friday prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
