Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Leland and Grace Taylor Cunningham. Irene was a faithful member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church. She loved gardening and growing flowers. Irene was a loyal wife and mother known for her sweet smile and disposition.
Irene is survived by a daughter, Janice Tyson; three sons, Ron Miller and wife Terry, Leland Miller and wife JoAnn, and Tim Miller and wife Patti; nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by five brothers and sisters; two grandchildren, Andy Miller and Seai Miller; and her son-in-law, Jim Tyson.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:45 PM – 1:45 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home prior to the service.
