Cam was a licensed optician for 4 decades, he taught many people the basics of the optical industry. Cam never met a stranger. During his time on earth he enjoyed riding his Harley, college football, and visiting the train station as well as the Clemson Tigers, ("Go Cocks" as Olivia would tell him). Cam loved his children and was very proud of them. His love for music, especially classic rock, and his dance moves will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his children Logan Hammond (fiancée Ellie), Olivia Hammond (boyfriend Tyler) and Julia Powell (Heath) and Grandchildren Zion, Canaan, Shiloh, Judah and Asher. Also, former wife Leisa Hammond as well as his granddog Finn.
Cam was predeceased by his parents Harry Sr. and Olivia Hammond and sister Dana Hammond.

Services for Cam will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024. Visitation will be at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Dr. 311 Century Dr. Greenville, SC 29607 from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM followed by a Graveside Service at 1:00 PM at Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Rd. Piedmont, SC 29673.
