Grace Lanell Roles

Grace Lanell Roles (80) of Greenville, SC passed away peacefully on April 8, 2023 at her home under Hospice Care and surrounded by her loved ones. She was the daughter of the late Melvin E. Cleek and Reggie Ashley Cleek. Grace was born on April 16, 1942 in Hornbeak, TN and married Richard C. Roles in Farmington Hills, MI on November 28, 1980.

Grace loved Jesus. She and Richard did much to further the Kingdom of God. She loved her family and was an inspiration to all she touched.

She is survived by her husband Richard C. Roles; her children Sherry Kindred, Sean Williams (Laura), Stacey Lee (Michael); her grandchildren Brooke Mills (Brandon), Noah Vondemkamp, and Nico Williams.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 2 PM- 4 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. A private family graveside service will be held at Brent Cemetery in Brent, AL.

We would like to thank all of her caregivers: Jenny, Vicki, Maggie, Hope, Tammy, Britni, Regina, and Debbie who cared for and loved her well.
