Mr. Joyce was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII. He was an active member of St. John’s Methodist Church, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a Shriner. He loved to travel the world, but always came back to his beloved Cape Cod.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Eileen; a daughter, Cathie Joyce of Greenville, SC; two sons, George H. “Chip” Joyce, III (Mary Yerardi) of Watertown, MA and William D. “Bill” Joyce (Lisa S.) of Aiken, SC; and three granddaughters, Claire, Amanda, and Rachel.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1pm in the Chapel of The Mackey Mortuary.
