George Harold Fain, 77 of Greer, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Born in Spartanburg, SC he was the son of the late Joseph Sherman and Earlene Clayton Fain. He is survived by his wife: Shelby Jean Worley Fain; three children: Joseph Sherman Fain, Karen (Tim) Watson, and Gregory Harold Fain; 4 grandchildren: Braxton Ross, Jonathan Ross, Emma Watson, and Stephanie Fain; 4 great-grandchildren: Alexie McWhorter, Abby McWhorter, Kade McCall, and Tristen Ross; and a sister: Barbara (Earl) Jarrett. He was predeceased by 2 sisters: Betty Fain and Nadine Fain. Harold loved the outdoors, especially hunting. He was lifetime member of NRA and a lifetime member of the Bailey Masonic Lodge 146. Harold and his wife Shelby Jean were charter members of Riverside Baptist Church, Greer. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 25 from 12:00 - 1:30 pm followed by the funeral at 1:30 pm, all at Woodlawn Funeral Home with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
