Gary B Crenshaw

Gary B Crenshaw passed away peacefully on April 1, 2013, and is now in the arms of the angels. He was the loving husband of Gail H. Crenshaw, and the son of the late Boyce and Jo Crenshaw. Gary was a graduate of Greenville High School, and attended Greenville Technical College. He was a certified Pressman, and worked at such notable newspapers as the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Atlanta Constitution, and the Greenville News. He was a graduate of the National Institute of Real Estate and worked as a licensed agent. Gary retired as owner and President of GAR, Inc. Gary served honorably with the United States Marine Corps, and was a Vietnam Veteran. Gary is survived by his wife; brother-in-law, Allen (Pat); sister-in-law, JoAnn Unger; nephews, Marc (Carol Ann) and Eric (Sara) Hudgens, Brian Unger; niece, Shelley (Sean) Johnson; his devoted Pebble Creek neighbors; his Lake Hartwell buddies; and many other loving family members and friends. Gary loved life and tried to live it to the fullest. He loved Clemson football, boating, beaching, and travelling to different parts of the world. His adventurous spirit will be missed. A receiving of family and friends will be held Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1 Pine Knoll Dr., Greenville, SC. A private funeral service will be held.
