Growing up Fred played baseball and basketball in the Southern Textile League in Brandon. He worked for General Nutrition (NUTRA) for 25 years before retiring. He loved fishing, playing sports, hunting but most importantly he loved his family.
Fred is survived by his wife, Jackie McAbee; his sister Jan McAbee Kiser (Rick) and his sister Pamela Armstrong.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bart McAbee.
Fred also leaves behind numerous beloved nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
A graveside service for Fred will be held Monday, October 10, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Graceland Cemetery West, 4814 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611.
