Elizabeth Johnson Mahon, age 90, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. Elizabeth was born in Greenville, SC on July 27, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Thomas R. Johnson and Evelyn Floyd Johnson. A graduate of Greenville High School and Furman University, she was a social worker with the Greenville Department of Social Services, and a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 3, 2021 at 10:30am with a memorial service following at 11:00am at St. James Episcopal Church, 301 Piney Mountain Road, Greenville, SC 29609.
She is survived by her son, Thomas C. Mahon of Charleston, SC. Mrs. Mahon is predeceased by a son, Brown Mahon III, sister, Evelyn Johnson Ruffin, and two brothers: Thomas R. Johnson, Jr. and Frank Johnson.
