Eileen M. Joyce, 96, formerly of Watertown, MA, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022.
Mrs. Joyce was an active member of St. John’s Methodist Church. She was known for her sense of humor and quick wit. Family was always a priority for Mrs. Joyce. She and her husband loved to travel the world especially with her siblings, but always came back to their beloved Cape Cod.
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, George H. Joyce Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Cathie Joyce of Taylors, SC; two sons, George H. “Chip” Joyce, III (Mary Yerardi) of Watertown, MA and William D. “Bill” Joyce (Lisa S.) of Aiken, SC; and three granddaughters, Claire, Amanda (Dylan Murray), and Rachel; and great granddaughter, Madeleine. She was also loved by her many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Chandler Gray Cemetery in West Yarmouth, MA.
