Edwin H Young

Edwin Harold Young, 98, of Myrtle Beach, passed away December 10, 2014. Born in Uniontown, PA, he was a son of the late Harold D. Young and Mary Bowlin. He was a WWII US Army veteran. He is survived by his one son Eric S. Young and wife Rhonda; one granddaughter Alexis Young. Edwin was predeceased by wife Dorothy Nicklow Young.

Ed was self-employed for 45 years in sales of business forms and advertising which was both a job and a hobby. He moved his business from Uniontown, PA to Greenville, SC in 1978. He was always able to obtain at least a smile or a laugh from those he met. He worked up until the age of 92. He passed during a hospitalization for pneumonia.

He is greatly loved and will be missed.

Funeral services will be conducted December 15, 2014 at 12:00 am in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. Visitation one hour prior, burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial park, Greenville, South Carolina.
