Edna Lockaby Smith

Edna Lockaby Smith, 91 passed away March 1, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Berry Frank and Lily Geneva Lockaby. The most important things in her life were her faith and her family. She was the heart of her family and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, J. Wayne Smith, 3 daughters, Dianne Henson (Ken), Deborah Parrish, and Ruth Driggers (Jim). Also surviving are 4 sisters, Frances Smith, Lu Hightower, Kate Moody, Joan Smith, 1 brother, Melvin Lockaby, 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by 4 brothers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 5th from 12:00 – 1:45 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, where services will be held at 2:00 with interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
