Donna Ruth Kepler, 60, of Greenville, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 6, 2018. Born in Woodland, CA, she lived in Alberta, Canada; Vermont, West Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, and ultimately South Carolina. Donna graduated from Oxbow Unified High School in Bradford, VT. She was a Sacred Music major when she graduated from Bob Jones University in 1980. Donna spent nearly 30 years in the greater Washington DC area, 22 of which as an administrative professional at CWA. Her passion was music. As a pianist and singer, she was involved in many groups and productions in the greater Washington area. Donna worked as an usher at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for 22 years. In 2012, she moved to Greenville and worked as a student support specialist at Bob Jones University until her death. An avid reader, she was a member of the Greenville Chamber Singers for several years. Donna was also a member of Heritage Bible Church in Greer. Preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Norma Kepler, she is survived by her sister, Nancy Bean (Ronald); brothers, Kenneth (Caitlyn) and John (Amy); aunt, Allene Wilson; niece and nephews: Laura Fleming, Daniel and Jonathan Kepler, and Stephen and David Bean; and stepmother, Pauline Kepler.
