Don was born March 24, 1932 in Detroit Michigan. Don and his sweetheart Audrey were happily married for over 60 years.
Don had a Master's degree in Coordination & Distributive Education from Michigan State University, and had been an educator, salesman, and business entrepreneur throughout most of his adventurous life, but his biggest passion in life was his genuine Christian Faith. There was actually a movie filmed in Jamaica, about Don's life and his many adventures all over the world.
Don and Audrey together smuggled Bibles into Communist China in the 1980's and Don also had the privilege of building several Chapels and a Bible School in the Muslim country of Gambia, West Africa. In fact, he had been to many countries all over the globe, seeding the world with Gideon Bibles and tracts.
He loved to hand out tracts and introduce people to his "best friend Jesus" at every opportunity; helping then to discover the way of salvation.
