She was the beloved wife of William (Bill) Wood for 72 years. Born the first time December 19, 1926 and the second time September 16, 1962, Dolores was the mother of 4 devoted children, grandmother of 11, and great-grandmother of 10.
Growing up in Columbus, Ohio and an avid Buckeye fan all her life, she enjoyed gardening, homemaking, traveling, supporting missions, and being with her family. She and Bill served together for over 25 years at Bob Jones University; many still remember her encouraging ministry as she worked in the Business Office. She was a charter member of Heritage Bible Church in Greer.
Family will receive friends at the church beginning at 3:00 with the funeral following at 4:00 on Saturday, January 20th. Friends are invited to a brief committal service Sunday, January 21st at 2:00 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
