David Kenneth Holliday, 73, of Destin, Fl and formerly of Greenville passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011. Born in Greenville, SC he was the son of the late Arthur Aaron and Ganell Merck Holliday. He served in the US Navy 1954-1958, retired from Winn Dixie Inc and was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church. Ken was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife Barbara Kilby Holliday of Destin, FL; a daughter: Julie Holliday Snyder (Greg) and a son: David Alan Holliday (Jacque); his Mother in Law: Clara Kilby; 3 grandchildren: Haley Alane Holliday, Amanda Snyder, Michael Snyder; one great-grandchild: Carson Nelsin and lots of special family and friends. He was predeceased by a brother: Gary W. Holliday. Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with visitation prior to the service from 3:00 - 4:00 pm in the funeral home.
