Born in Miami, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Charles Franklin Sprouse and the late Barbara Quigley Sprouse. Mrs. Wright was a longtime business owner and entrepreneur in Greenville. She was a longtime member of White Oak Baptist Church. Mrs. Wright loved the beach, the Blue Ridge Mountains, her family, a special love for her grandchildren, and a love for her Mother’s homemade chocolate fudge. She was generous, compassionate, and kind and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wright is survived by a daughter, Shannon D. Carroll (John); two step-children, Todd Wright (Diane) and Jan Wright Brooks; four grandchildren, Brandon Foster (Stefanie), Austin Foster, Stevie Floyd (Ken), and Janelle Wright; four great grandchildren, Kain Foster, Davin Wright, and Brilee Grace Wright, and a great granddaughter due in December, baby Rain Foster; two brothers, Bob Cameron and Charles F. Sprouse, Jr. (Wendy); a sister, Nancy Cruciger; a brother-in-law, Craig Wright (Chris); and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Farthing.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Mr. Mike Zruna, VP of Curo Health Services, the staff of Regency Southern Care Hospice, Spartanburg Regional Unit 5 North, and Lake Emory Post Acute Care.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 1:30 PM in the Remembrance Chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Richard Burton, followed by a graveside prayer.
