Curtis graduated from Lander College followed by a career as a school teacher for 41 years. Her last 15 years were spent as a member of the Cascades Verde Senior Living Community. She was known by all as a sweet, kind, and loving lady. Curtis enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafts, and reading. Her greatest joy was being with her family.
Curtis was preceded in death by her husband Wilkins Campbell.
She is survived by her son, Marion Campbell (Alice) and daughter Susan Duncan (Dale). She loved her grandchildren: Kristin Ohmes (Rob), Rebecca Bell (Clayton), Daniel Duncan, and Forrest Duncan (Kelsey) and great-grandchildren: Breanne, Brandon, Joe, Savannah, Ben, and Fern.
A visitation for Curtis will be held Monday, October 16, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607, with a funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm. A private burial will be held at Greenville Memorial Gardens, Piedmont, South Carolina.
