Colette Katrina Gary

Colette K. (Bigby) Gary, 56, of Greenville, passed away peacefully in her home on June 11, 2017. Born December 22, 1960 in Greenville; she was the daughter of Allen Miles Jr. and the late Polly (Bigby) Davis. She married Ronald Gary on June 23, 1993 in Greenville.

A lifetime resident of Greenville, “Coco” enjoyed reading, word games, puzzles, preparing good home cooked meals for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Ronald Gary; son, Robert L. Jones; step-daughter, Sharon M. Gary; father, Allen Miles Jr.; grandchildren, Jhynieria, Rhymir, Kemarian and Alaila Jones; sister, Carla (Raymond) Jones; brother, Raphael (Kesha) Bigby; nieces, Kesha and Lauren Bigby, Kara and Chloe Jones; nephews, Juston (Dashia) Bigby and Zachary Jones; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother; and grandparents, Allen and Mamie Miles, James and Nora (Blandin) Bigby.

A celebration of her life will held Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1 Pine Knoll Dr., Greenville. Burial will take place in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Piedmont.
