Christine was a beloved wife, sister, and daughter. She was predeceased by her husband, Brian Donnelly, her brother, Russell Page, and her parents, Ira and Irene Page, who were World War II veterans (Father—United States Army, Mother—The Royal Air Force).
Her life was a testament to the power of friendship. She leaves behind a vast network of dear friends, a testament to her loyalty, love, and the profound impact she had on those around her.
She was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She later married her college sweetheart, Brian, after meeting at Bob Jones University. They loved working with the youth and found many ways to serve in the church and the community. Christine volunteered as a Reserve Deputy at the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office with the Cadet program known as Explorer Post 817 and with the South Carolina State Association of Crime Prevention Officers. She loved helping Brian, a Sergeant with the sheriff’s office, and she served for many years following his death before retiring from those volunteer positions.
Christine loved the art of crochet. She began her adventure as a teenager and has shared her creative ideas and designs through publishers and classes to pass on the art. If she wasn’t crocheting, she was dancing her Zumba moves. These activities gave her wonderful experiences, friendships, and opportunities to share the gospel.
She was a member of Heritage Bible Church and also attended Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a part of her Shepherding group, Bible Study Fellowship, and Seasoned Saints, just to name a few.
Christine’s homegoing service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Bible Church, 2005 Old Spartanburg Rd. in Greer, SC. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1901 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29609.
