Carolyn Cooper passed away at home while surrounded by family on September 21, 2020 at the age of 65. She had been in a fight with cancer for almost 3 years. She was a devoted, loving, and joyful person who will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.
After her graduation from Bob Jones University in 1977, she moved to Greenville, South Carolina to begin work at BJU Press. She was so passionate about her work as an Editor at BJU Press that she continued to work as much as she could until her death.
She enjoyed cooking, crafting, reading, and caring for her cats, but most of all she loved tending to the hydrengas in her garden.
Carolyn is survived by her mother, Betty Peronia; her sister, Cathy Graddy; her brother, Douglas Peronia; her son, Ben Cooper; her three daughters, Katie, Anna, and Beth Cooper; and two grandchildren, Harper and Ryan Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her father, Duffy Peronia.
