Carole Crews Harrison, 78, of Greenville, SC passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013. Born in Greenville SC she was the daughter of the late Don M. and Anna Langley Crews. She was a graduate of Paris High School where she sang in various music ensembles. She retired from Greenville County Schools after 28 years of service and especially loved her work with the children at Washington Center. She was a member of Enoree Baptist Church where she enjoyed time with her Sunday School class when she was able to attend. She was married to Henry C. Harrison for 21 years and had a very close relationship with the entire Harrison family and loved them as her own. Carole is survived by a son Randy and Beth Harrison of Greer; a daughter Carole Ann and Kent Owens of Greer; a brother and sister -in-law: Donnie and Louise Crews of Travelers Rest; a sisters-in-law: Barbara Crews, Elizabeth Baker, Frances Harrison and Margaret Shenk; five grandchildren: Heidi H. Boyce (Andy), Tyler Harrison (Tonya), and Will, Anna, and Carly Owens; and five great-grandchildren : Harrison, Caroline and Baily Boyce; Ava and Lillie Harrison. She leaves many loving nieces and nephews and their families: Craig Crews, Angela Lollis Burns, Debbie Ball, John Baker, Walter Harrison, Paula Shaw, Pam Ellis, David Harrison, Rene Pack, Greg Harrison, and Mark Shenk. She was predeceased by her brother Wayne Crews of Greenville and nephew Conrad Crews. She was a loving and patient lady who loved the Lord and spending time with her family. She had a unique way of bringing happiness and laughter to all those who knew her. She was always full of like and her warmth and love spilled over to everyone around her. She will be missed greatly by all those whose lives she touched. Visitation will be Monday May 13, 2013 at Woodlawn Funeral Home from 6:00 -7:30 pm.
