Brenda Foster Davis, 59 of Greer went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on March 1, 2013. Born in Pensacola, Florida, she was the daughter of the late William Winfield and Mary Frances Elliott Foster. She retired from Greenville Memorial Hospital after 32 years of serving in a profession she loved - Nursing. She was a member of Taylors First Baptist Church, Taylors, SC. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 37 years: Ron Davis of Greer; a daughter: Ashley Davis of Greer; a son and daughter-in-law: Foster and Deidra Elizabeth Davis of Greenville; two brothers; James Hendrickson of Manvel, TX and Lewis Summerlin of Santa Fe, TX; a sister: Barbara Ray of Pensacola, FL and a granddaughter: Marley Hayden Davis. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 2:30 pm in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:15 pm in the funeral home.
