Betty Baldwin Slack

Betty Kathleen Baldwin Slack, 92, widow of Robert E. Slack, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 13, 2021. She was born in Randolph County, Indiana, June 21, 1929, daughter of Roy L. and Annabel Cuppy Baldwin.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Rhoney of Greer, SC and Rebecca (Becky) Norton of Greenville, SC; one son, Duane Slack (Carol) of Simpsonville, SC; five grandchildren, Joshua Slack (Anna), Anna Chamberlin (Adam), Aaron Norton, Robbie Norton, and Jonathan Norton; and six great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one grandchild, Craig Rhoney; two sisters, and two brothers.

Betty was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Simpsonville, SC. In 1993 she retired from the Greenville County Court after working as Deputy Clerk of Court for many years.

Betty enjoyed being with her family, music and playing piano. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by many who knew her.

A funeral service will be held on December 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park at 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
