Betty Bowen Knight, 89, died May 17, 2014 at McCall Hospice House. Betty was born in McCrae GA to the late Andrew Jackson Bowen and Jennie Mae Hullett. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and an avid Clemson fan. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her two daughters Jenny Miller (Horst Rausch), Jacquelyn Dumit (Bob) and son Lloyd A. Knight; five grandchildren: Bobby Dumit (Michele), Pete Miller ( Denine), Ryan Miller (Ashley), Kelly Dumit Reeves (Ryan) and Austin L Knight; six great grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Haley, Avery, Evan, Brett and Brooke. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1 Pine Knoll Dr., Greenville, SC 29609 at 10:00 am with Funeral service at 11:00 am and burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to McCall Hospice House, 1836 W Georgia Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29680 .
