Audrey Sue Horton Ridgeway, 89, wife of the late Robert Ragsdale “Bob” Ridgeway, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 in Greenville.
Born in Landrum, to the late Grayson and Mary Bruce Horton, Sue was a member of Northgate Baptist Church.
For sixty-six years she was heavily involved with the church by teaching Sunday School, membership in the Ruth Sunday School Class and the Joy Club, visiting those in need around the community, and in her later years, dedicating herself to the WMU.
She is survived by two sons, Randal Ridgeway (Carol) of Greer, and Kenneth Ridgeway (Kathy) of Inman; a grandson, Ryan Ridgeway (Lindsey); and two sisters, Jean George, and Lois Carson.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Cleo Powell; and three brothers, Ayllon, Buford, and William Horton.
Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
