Alma H. Shore

Alma H. Shore, 92 of Greenville, SC passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012. Born in Winston-Salem, NC, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius Carl Holden and Lillian Bell Coltrane Holden. She graduated from Gray High School in Winston-Salem, NC and Draughn's Business College. She worked for Greenville Bus Line and retired from Clemson Ext. Service. Alma was a longtime member of Overbrook Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Alma was the last surviving child of three brothers: Hal Reitzel, Cornelius Carl and Ralph Worth; two sisters: Ruth Dowell and Hilda H. Burton. She is survived by three children: Robert Jerald Shore (Georgiann), Kenneth Michael Shore, and Hilda Sullivan; four grandchildren: Robert Holden Shore (Patti), Jennifer Leigh Kramme (Jon), Heather Field Eichman (Matt), Steffan Holden Kelly (Chris) and nine great-grandchildren: Elaine, Ryan, Evan, Katie, Joseph, Jack, Elizabeth, Brend and Liliana. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home followed by scattering of the ashes in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
