Adauto J. B. Lourenço, a Physics graduate from Bob Jones University (1990) and a Physics master's degree holder from Clemson University (1994), conducted research at prestigious institutions like the Max Planck Institute for Flow Research in Germany and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the USA. His contributions in atomic force microscopy and energy exchange between surfaces and gases earned him recognition, including the Fumagalli Trophy for Science in 2005. As a distinguished speaker, he delivered over 500 seminars worldwide on Creation-Evolution, engaging audiences in Brazil, the USA, Europe, and Africa. Notable appearances include lectures at renowned universities like USP-POLI and ITA, as well as participation in international events such as the Darwinism Today Symposiums and the Origins Philosophy Congresses.
Adauto authored acclaimed books on creationism, notably "How It All Began - An Introduction to Creationism," which received awards for its design and apologetics. His expertise also extended to media appearances on television and radio, addressing the intersection of faith and science.
Adauto is survived by his wife Sueli, three daughters: Quezia, Joyce, and Sarah; and two grandchildren, Alice and Noah.
