Vickie Lynn Boone

Vickie Lynn Boone, age 68 of Dayton, Ohio (formerly of Troy, OH) passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 10:05 AM at Stonespring of Vandalia, Dayton, Ohio. Born in Columbus, Ohio on September 12, 1952 she was a daughter to the late Howard Fay & Helen (Smith) Frye. Vickie was a proud United States Navy veteran, and attended the First United Methodist Church in Troy. She enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitch, and collecting cherish teddies & angels. Vickie was a social butterfly and never met a stranger; she made friends everywhere that she went. She will truly be missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 3 brothers Andy, Jimmie and Steven Fay.

Survived by her children Torrey & Susan Boone; Theresa & Rocky Travis: granddaughter Holly & Josh Hamilton: step-grandchildren Dennis Wagner; Raven Travis; Nicholas Brittain: great-grandchildren Haley Hamilton; Benjamin Hamilton: step-great grandson Matthew Morrison: siblings Mike Fay; Gary & Celia Fay; Ronnie Fay; Margie & Theodore Cooper: special friends Roger & Ann Sweeney.

Friends may call on the family on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 5:00 PM-6:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. A memorial service will follow at 6 PM with Pastor Chris Heckaman presiding.
