Kimberly “Kim” Sebring, age 76 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 3:42 AM Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Kim was born December 1, 1947 in Greenville and the daughter of the late Jack and June (Coppock) Meckes.
She retired from working as a Licensed Practical Nurse having worked at several retirement facilities in the area. Kim was a 1965 graduate of Greenville Senior High School and was the Homecoming Queen her senior year. She was an avid sports fan, particularly loving Ohio State Buckeye football and the Green Bay Packers. She also loved playing golf, participating in many different crafts including cross stitching and art work on gourds. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Greenville and had formerly owned, with her mother June, the Greenville Flower Shop. Kim was also a former owner of the Peanut Barrel.
Kim is survived by her husband, Ned R. Sebring of Greenville. They were married May 8, 1993. Also her children Jim (Lavonne) Campbell of Huber Heights and Dick (Cynthia) Hill of Troy; Grandchildren Ben and Rachel; 6 Great Grandchildren; Brother Michael J. (Shelley) Meckes of Greenville; Niece Tiffany (Chris) Pope and Nephew Dustin Michael Meckes.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 4, 2024 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Keith Menter officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Cancer Association of Darke County, 1111 Sweitzer Street Suite C, Greenville, Ohio, 45331.
