It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeromy Burke, a beloved brother, son, father, and all-around chivalrous man who left us on March 20, 2025. Born on October 22, 1977, Jerm was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He exemplified chivalry through his actions, always putting the needs of his loved ones before his own. He was a devoted husband and father, a protective brother, a supportive son, and a loyal friend, who made everyone feel valued and cherished. He was also recognized as a dedicated mechanic and was known for his exceptional skill and unwavering passion for his work.
Jerm was more than just a mechanic; he was the go-to person for friends and family, always ready to lend a helping hand. His warm smile and infectious laughter brought joy to everyone around him. He was a devoted father, nurturing and guiding his children with love and care, instilling in them the values of hard work and compassion.
Throughout his life, Jerm worked tirelessly to provide for his family, ensuring they had everything they needed to thrive. His selflessness and dedication were matched only by his capacity for love.
Jerm was not just a provider but also a protector and guide. His gentle spirit taught his family the importance of respect, integrity, and compassion. He was a steadfast presence in their lives, always ready with a solution to every problem they faced.
For five long years, Jerm bravely fought Ewing sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. His strength and resilience during this challenging journey inspired all who knew him. He faced each day with courage, determination, and a spirit that never wavered, teaching us the true meaning of hope, faith, and perseverance.
He is survived by his only son, Luke Burke, his nieces Addie and Millie Dynes who he shared a special bond with as a father figure and Alayna Dynes, his nephew Karson Dynes, his caring siblings, Brittany, Jeff & Dana Dynes, Robby Robinson, and half-sister Stacey Burke, his devoted mother, Hannah (Hoffman) Dynes, and his paternal grandmother Penny Weaver, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, & cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Kathy (Hayes) Burke as well as his beloved grandparents Richard & Sarah (Spurlock) Hoffman who helped play a role in shaping him to the man he became as well as his paternal grandfather Ed Burke. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the memories we hold dear.
