James Emerson Beisner, age 89 of Greenville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at EverHeart Hospice Care Center, Greenville, Ohio. Born in Greenville on January 17, 1932 he was a son to the late Clarence & Nellie (North ) Beisner. James was a proud United States Army veteran, and had served in the Korean War. He was a lifelong farmer, and had also worked in construction for Dale Rismiller Construction and Nu Way Builders. He was a Greenville High School graduate, class of 1950. On May 26, 1956 he married the love of his life, Jacqueline (Pittsenbarger) Beisner. James was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Greenville, and a lifelong member of the VFW. In his younger years he enjoyed going camping. He enjoyed meeting up with his farming friends at Kellers, and solving the world’s problems; he will truly be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Betty Strobel: sister in law Vera (Delk) Beisner: son in laws Michael Hine; Gary Bolin: father and mother in law Earl & Eleanor Pittsenbarger.
Survived by his wife of 65 years, Jacqueline: children Karen & Larry Middleton; Kent & Pam Beisner; Kay Bolin: grandchildren Jason & Kristen Middleton; Sarah & Kevin Gibson; Krista & Dan Golden; Jennifer & Robert Gunckle; Mindy Beisner & Jesse Wright; Faith Beisner & fiancé Dakota Edger; Emily Beisner & Cody Preston; Patrick Hine; Heather & Josh Stith: great-grandchildren Margaret Middleton; Brayden Gibson; Anna Gibson; Rob, Ella and Jake Golden; Abigail Gunckle; Emma Stith; Kylee Stith: siblings William Beisner; Lester & Delores Beisner: brother in laws Carl Strobel; Dennis & Angie Pittsenbarger: and numerous nieces & nephews.
Friends may call on the family on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, OH. Funeral service to be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Greenville at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 10, 2021 with an hour visitation prior. Pastor Alliyah Greaver presiding.
