Greenville - Glen Orville Frick, 69 of Greenville Ohio, went home to meet his Jesus on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 21, 1951 at New Madison, Ohio, the son of the late George Otis and Charlotte Emma (Weaver) Frick.
Glen married Shirley Louise Stump, July 27, 1974. To this union were added 7 children: Sharon, Daniel, Naomi, Rhoda, Marla, Marlan and Rachel.
He was the owner of Frick Sales for 44 years. During the course of that time, he accumulated an eclectic collection of rare and unusual tools and machinery that he took great joy in sharing with others. He was a great asset to the Darke County community and was loved by many.
Glen joined his heart and hands to God, requested baptism at 19 yrs. of age, and was a member of the Conservative German Baptist Brethren Church. In March, 1974, Glen joined the Englewood Dunkard Brethren Church and used his talents to continue in God’s service. At his passing he clung to the Brethren Faith.
He is survived by his companion, Shirley of 46 years of Greenville, OH; his children and their spouses: Sharon and Glenn Wells of Palestine, OH. Daniel and Cindy Frick of Bradford, OH. Naomi Frick of Greenville, OH. Rhoda and Stephen Kindred of Parker City, IN. Marla and Levi McKim of Crocker, MO. Marlan and Regina Frick of Dayton, OH. and Rachel and Jake Angle of Palestine, OH.
17 Grandchildren: Elaine, Edward, James, and Marie Wells; Faith, Wyatt, and Adilayia Kindred; Winston, and Olivia McKim; Landon, Nikki, Trenton, Daisy, Jesslyn, and Casen Frick; Tatyana, and Tiara Angle. Brother and sisters: Daryl Frick of Thomasville, PA, Gloria (Mervin) Hilty of Palestine, OH. Linda Frick of Gettysburg, OH. Retha (Robert) Musser of Mohnton, PA. and multiple nieces and nephews. He leaves to mourn his best friend Randy Miller of Lewisburg, OH and hundreds of customers, whom he considered his friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 18, at 10:00 AM at the Bradford Old Brethren Church (8855 Children’s Home Bradford Road; Bradford, OH.) Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Bradford, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Aid Ministries.
