Geneva Griffith

Geneva I. Griffith, age 80 of Greenville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 8:50 PM at the Village Green Nursing Home, Greenville, Ohio. Born in Union City, Indiana on February 28, 1941, she was a daughter to the late Herman & Bernice (Maloy) Smith. Geneva attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville, Ohio. In her free time she loved to play cards and bingo; take car rides and spend time with her family. She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Griffith: son Rick Guthrie: sister Sondra Blum: brother Fred Smith: daughters-in- law Lori Guthrie; Stella Guthrie.

Survived by her children Diana & James Fisher; Mike Guthrie; Larry Guthrie: grandchildren Jason Fisher; Melinda Fisher & Jason Hofacker: Jessie & Heather Guthrie; Jannette Guthrie & Yogi Tucker; Tammy Weltz; Paula Quinn: great-grandchildren Tyler Hofacker; Harley Alexis Fisher; Kyle Fisher; Jennifer Hofacker; Cheyanne Hofacker; Selena Guthrie; Brandon Tucker: brothers Herman “Duke” & Carolyn Smith; Larry Jo & Sharon Smith; Kenny & Donna Smith: special friends Ann Kolb; Mary Keuchel; Marti Francis: as well as many more family members and friends.

Friends may call on the family from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenville at 10:30 AM with Fr. Matt Fiest presiding.
